From India to Australia
House of Bohi is a homage to our founder's homeland of Bhadohi, India’s storied Carpet City. A small town with a global footprint, where the work of human hands, guided by a practised rhythm refined over generations, has long furnished homes around the world.
Today, our founder Saima continues that lineage from Sydney, bringing her heritage to Australia while keeping the work maker-led, traceable, and intentional by design.
Each rug is imbued with culture and heart, carrying a story you can feel underfoot. One of skill, pride and place, made to ground your space so you can start weaving stories of your own.

Our rugs are a testament to the mastery of our artisans. We honour this expertise with direct, above market compensation, alongside support for education and local community needs. This ensures our makers are secure and empowered to plan for the future. Every rug is independently certified by GoodWeave, guaranteeing a legacy of ethical excellence.
We use natural fibres and low-impact traditional weaving techniques that are gentle on the earth. No large inventory or dead stock. Studio pieces are limited, and made-to-order beyond that, so we weave when there is a genuine need.
